March 2000

The birth of a Basil.

April 2015

Basil breaks his back and starts writing what would become his
first book, Dark's Descent, in his free time.

January 2016

Published Dark's Descent after nearly losing all rights to the book
and series.

August 2016

Published The Circle's Problem.

June 2017

Completed the script of his first-ever stageplay, Conscience.

October 2017

Completed first-ever book series, the Dark's Descent Series.

January 2018

Opened Basil E. Bacorn Books, Art, and More as a pop-up bookstore.

March 2018

Published The Book of Random Thoughts.

August 2018

Started college at the University of Maine at Machias, going for a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing.

November 2018

Published Geek Gods.

December 2018

Returned to Athens, PA.
Decided to continue education online, switching to an Associate's program.
Started looking for a storefront to open Basil E. Bacorn Books, Art, and More's first permanent location.

February 2019

The soft opening of Basil E. Bacorn Books, Art, and More in temporary location.

May 2019

The grand opening of Basil E. Bacorn Books, Art, and More in permanent location.

August 2019

Basil completed all the requirements for his Associate's degree, completing a two-year program in a single year. ;)

November 2019

Basil E. Bacorn Publishing signs on its first author who isn't Basil, C.G. Waltman.

Nine of Basil's books are banned and restricted from being sold in a store for the first time.

December 2019

Basil E. Bacorn Books, Art, and More closes its doors, shutting down on December 8, 2019. 

April 2020

Basil E. Bacorn Publishing signs its first international author, Lupe Barbero.

June 2020

Published The 2nd Book of Random Thoughts.

Published Grumps, and made the decision to donate all my author royalties from the book to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, due to a close family member being diagnosed with the disease while I had been working on the book.

Published Mothman Goes to School, which goes on to be sold in the official Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. 

August 2021

Basil E. Bacorn Publishing restructures its business organization into a limited liability company and hires its first two employees.
